Surprise.
Panel 1: "Three years earlier" Tass leans against a support pillar outside the Crow and Lyre looking across the street at Vale who stands in the light of the street lamp. "Bit creepy staring at folks from shadows. Don't you think?" Tass asks.
Panel 2: A close up on Vale's boots as she steps into the street to cross it.
Panel 3: Vale stops at the bottom of the steps and looks up at Tass. "Sorry, I wasn't sure it was you."
Panel 4: Tass moves off the pillar and spreads her hands, "Surprise."
Panel 5: Neither of them says anything for a moment, their breath misting in the air.
Panel 6: Vale stands half illuminated by the street lamp, "Surprise indeed. Of all the places... what are you doing here?"
